WNAG Flag Expedition Follow-Up: Harpy Eagle Update
The Kitlers wanted to take advantage of their trip to Llano Bonito to visit the Harpy Eagle nesting site where they had spent so much time 14 months earlier. The then-chick should be around 18 months old and, although it might still be dependent on its parents for food, those feeding visits would likely be a week or more apart. The Kitlers were not holding any hope of actually seeing the birds, but a trip to the area would hopefully provide more information.

David and Ly now have over 200 lbs of supplies that they will be personally delivering to the villagers of Llano Bonito.

WNAG Flag Expedition Update - School Supplies for the Children of Llano Bonito
During the first WNAG Flag Expedition, David and his wife had the privilege to be the first ever "outsiders" to stay at the Embera village of Llano Bonito. When we asked the natives about their needs, the only concern brought up related to the children. We promised we would try to help. In nature, everything is dependent on something else for survival. As humans, we also depend on each other and, moreover, nature's survival depends on all of us working together. When we help the natives, it gives them the means to continue protecting the forest. Please read on to find out how to be a part of this effort.
