David's image featured in International Artist magazine
David's “Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel” has been selected as a finalist in the International Artist magazine Challenge #88 “Favorite Subjects” competition. The magazine devoted a full page to this image in the Aug/Sept 2015 issue, which was accompanied by a discussion of David's inspiration for this painting, as well as his design strategy and working process.
International Artist is the magazine for artists by artists from around the world, and David is thrilled to once again have his work featured in the prestigious publication (more info at http://www.international-artist.com/).
David used the creation of this particular image to demonstrate the unique technique he has developed for working with acrylics in his first acrylics instructional DVD.
