More recognition for "Pink Sunset (Flamingo)": it received an Honourable Mention in the Art Renewal Center (ARC) 2013/2014 International Salon Competition.
With an approximate 2200 entries by over 1,000 artists, the 2013/2014 ARC Salon competition was more competitive then ever! Initially we were happy to hear that the piece was among the 685 finalists. Then, although it didn't win one of the 3 awards in the Animal Category, we were thrilled to hear that it received one of 6 Honourable Mentions in that category (www.artrenewal.org/pages/salon_winners.php?contest=2013-2014 Salon&page=HonorableMention#Animal).
Take a moment to look at the quality of the work, and you will see why David feels it is an honour to be among them!
