WNAG Flag Expedition reaches successful completion
David has just returned from the jungles of Panama, where he spent one month observing, studying, and gathering reference material on the Harpy Eagle and its habitat. A hut in a remote Embera native village was "home" for most of David's time in Panama, where he had the honour of being the first ever outsider to visit. The village was close to not just one, but two Harpy Eagle nests, one of which had a 4-5 month old eaglet - the ideal scenario David had hoped for.
Soon you will be able to see excerpts of David's official Flag Expedition Journal, along with photos, video footage, and artwork resulting from the trip in the WNAG web site. Check www.natureartists.com/flagprogram often for updates.
