Another Drawing Technique Article Published in The Artist's Magazine
David's article "Scribbling, Scraping & Scratching" was published in the July/August 2010 issue of The Artist's Magazine, as part of their "Drawing Board" column.
In the article, David demonstrates the use of non-traditional tools and an experimental approach to drawing wildlife, using a capuchin monkey as his subject. The final product is his "Siesta."
David had previously also prepared a detailed demonstration of the process he used to draw a bird's eye, which can be read online at www.artistsnetwork.com/article/demo-bird-eye.
If you don't already subscribe to the magazine, this issue is on stands until August 2010, and is bursting with very informative articles for artists of all levels.
