| The Art of Conservation Medal of Excellence |
|
On its 10th anniversary, the Artists for Conservation Foundation (AFC) launched its first annual juried exhibition featuring the nature art of its members. The AFC celebrates artistic excellence in the depiction of nature, raises awareness of conservation issues and directly supports organizations who are dedicated to addressing them.
The exhibition will be on display until December 21st at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum - one of the world's leading museums for nature and wildlife art. The museum is located in Oradell, NJ, approximately 1/2 hour from New York City.
Along with many of the artworks, a high-quality, hardcover book with full color reproductions is for sale and features all of the works selected for exhibition. A portion of this book also highlights projects and initiatives of AFC's first conservation beneficiary partner, WCS, as well as AFC Flag Expeditions.
