Details: The Society of Animal Artists is a world-renowned organization that has become the standard bearer of excellence in the field of animal art and within the greater fine art community.

Linda is very proud to announce that her miniature painting, "Resilient Recluse" was selected for the Society of Animal Artists Annual Exhibition. This is a great honor as all work goes through a rigorous jury process. With only slightly more than one-third of the total submissions selected for this years show, the exhibition will consist of 92 2D and 31 3D masterpieces.

The SAA is quite fortunate to be able to not only bring to the area, the best of animal art through the opening of 58TH ART AND THE ANIMAL, but to be the very first outside exhibition to take place at the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art.

EXPLORERS AGAINST EXTINCTION “SKETCH FOR SURVIVAL” an online wildlife art auction

Details: Explorers Against Extinction is a wildlife conservation campaign organized by the UK charity, the Real World Conservation Trust. The primary aim of "Sketch for Survival" is to raise awareness to the threats facing the world’s most iconic species, their habitats and to raise significant funds to nominated projects to protect them.

The 2018 Sketch for Survival auction site launched Saturday, September 22nd (World Rhino Day) and will close on Sunday, November 25th. The spread between these dates offers ample time to view all 420 sketches by professional artists, celebrities and other high profiled individuals. Be sure to register to bid, then go ahead and place your online bid. Be sure to refresh the pages of the piece(s) you wish to own in order to keep track of current bids.

All profits from the sale of this artwork will be donated to African Parks to establish a working dog program in Garamba to safeguard Elephants and the rare Kordofan Giraffe. Your generosity and support of this most important cause is paramount to its success. Thank you.

Henderson, Kentucky was the home of John James Audubon, who lived and painted in Henderson from 1810 to 1819. It was here that he set the course toward painting every bird in North America.

The purpose of the Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit is to increase awareness for the preservation of wildlife and to recognize the artists who derive their inspiration from creatures great and small. The exhibit further encourages the collection of original works of art to admire and enjoy.

Details: The Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, D.C. (MPSGS) celebrates its 85th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF FINE ART IN MINIATURE.

Miniature art is a unique art form based on minute scale that traces its roots back to the book paintings and illuminated manuscripts of the 7th century. A work of fine art in miniature is a particularly personal object that draws the viewer into a very intimate world. The MPSGS juried art show is one of the oldest and largest miniature events in the USA, and what better place to hold this amazing exhibition than at the beautiful and historic Mansion at Strathmore where over 800 tiny masterpieces will be on display and for sale.
