| ORIGINAL ART DONATION - Carolina Tiger Rescue, Pittsboro, NC |

Linda Rossin has donated an original painting to Carolina Tiger Rescue for their "Black Ties & Tails Ball" auction, an annual gala to benefit Carolina Tiger Rescue. CTR is a nonprofit organization that provides a lifelong sanctuary to wildcats rescued from the pet trade or other abhorrent conditions, whose mission is to save and protect wild cats in captivity and in the wild.
The exotic evening shimmers with fine food and drink, lighthearted games, silent and live auctions, entertainment and dancing. The highlight of each Black Tie & Tails Ball is the superb auction packages. Examples of previous donated items included: a weeks vacation on Hatteras Island, NC; Moonlight and Wine with the Tigers, a twilight tour during the cat’s most active hours, followed by wine and cheese while listening to the night sounds of CTR.
“This year I’m honored to gift an original painting of one of CTR’s ocelots, who I’m sure his adoptive parents will recognize! Having visited Carolina Tiger Rescue many times, I am constantly impressed by the dedicated staff and individual attention each animal receives. This 55 acre compound is filled with beautiful healthy tigers, leopards, lions, ocelots, and caracals, to name just a few, who are very fortunate to now be a part of CTR. Each enclosure provides ample space for these wild animals to romp, or just snooze in or on their private houses. It has been my privilege to personally met these handsome creatures along with the committed people who care for them.”
