SOCIETY OF ANIMAL ARTISTS 51st ANNUAL EXHIBITION
"Lakeside Silhouettes" will be a part of the Society of Animal Artists 51st annual exhibition of Art and the Animal. The Dennos Museum Center, on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College will be the host site for 2011. Society of Animal Artists is an organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards among painters and sculptors who specialize in animal art. The SAA draws upon the artistic talents of over 500 members from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America. To be in these annual shows, members must submit their work to jury for acceptance. All exhibitions combine natural history and fine art in creative ways, with an average number of 125 works per exhibition.
