Not only did "Fan Dancing" receive BEST IN ACRYLIC PAINTING from Cider Painters of America, it was also awarded the FOUNDER'S AWARD from Alabama's Spanish Moss Show. To top this off, this painting was featured in the 2016 Artists for Conservation live exhibition, which took place at Grouse Mountain Resort in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Traditional miniature art is fine art painted in small scale with minute attention to detail. Paintings must be able to withstand close inspection without revealing faults. Subject matter must be one-sixth of life size or smaller and painted no larger than twenty-five square inches.
