Goliath Grouper at Jupiter Florida
Every year an amazing event occurs off the shores of Southeastern Florida. Goliath Groupers aggregate to our waters to mate during late summer and early fall. This year a friend of mine and fellow diver, Mike Phelan, invited me to join the Palm Beach Reef Research Team as we observed, counted and photographed the mating behavior displayed by these incredible fish.
Mother and Child Chosen for Bank Calendar
"Mother and Child", the photo of a nurse shark and calf, has been chosen to appear in Sea Coast National Bank's Community Calendar for 2008. The photo has been exhibited at both the Martin County Arts Council and AE Bean Backus Gallery.
In Memory -- Richard Sloan 1935 - 2007
Over the past ten years, Richard Sloan and I had become close friends. His sudden passing last month was a tragic loss for the artworld and those who loved him. This is my personal tribute to Richard, the man who believed in me and inspired me to go for my dreams as an underwater photographer.
Christopher Wins Top Prize in Ft. Pierce Art Show
This shot was taken off Jupiter, Florida of a purple tipped anemone with an anemone shrimp. It won First Prize in the Digital Manipulation category. Another image of soft corals from the Madlive Islands won an award of Merit in the same category.
