Chiapas Mexico - El Triunfo
Hiking up El Triunfo is a unqiue birding experience. It is one of the few places you can get to see the Horned Guan. This huge bird, almost as big as a turkey, clambers along the tree limbs and in seconds can disappear and only its beak clicking assures you that it is still in the tree.

This November found us in the Andes around Quito enjoying the rarified mountain air. To see so many new spectacular Hummers and actually lay eyes on Antpittas made it a very special trip.
