Over the last five years Quail Unlimited claims to have: Spent over $8.3 million on habitat improvement projects. Was responsible for over $12.4 million in habitat expenditures through chapters, partners and value of seed distributed. Planted over 10.7 million pounds of seed on over 932,000 acres. Planted over 43,600 acres of native warm season grasses. Purchased over 141,000 pounds of special food plot mixes planted on 23,800 acres. Planted 150,000 pounds of lespedeza on 15,100 acres. Planted over 768,000 miles of wildlife food plots. Planted over 381,000 trees and shrubs through wildlife projects. Conducted prescribed burning on over 311,000 acres. Purchased, rented or maintained 962 pieces of equipment for habitat development. Developed or maintained 1,538 wildlife watering sites. Sponsored 2,377 youth activities, projects, camps, etc. Reached over one million youth with activities such as habitat projects, hunter education, conservation programs, scholarships, school events and youth groups. Sponsored 92 landowner/farmer events attended by over 6,200 people. Sponsored 159 research projects nationally. Conducted 436 wildlife surveys in cooperation with state and federal wildlife agencies. Improved over 42,700 acres of habitat through conservation mowing, spraying, discing and brush management. Purchased 346 tons of fertilizer for wildlife plantings. Paid for over 3,900 hours of contract labor. |

Art for ConservationTM Commitment Goal:

Quail Unlimited has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Quail Unlimited.
AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Quail Unlimited. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for ConservationTM program, unless explicitly indicated.
