Tusk Trust |
|
|
Over the last fifteen years Tusk has supported more than 30 conservation related projects in 15 African countries. Many of these are still ongoing. Tusk believes in providing long term support for projects and provides funds for emergency situations. The majority of the Trust's funds are raised through an annual appeal to UK charitable trusts, a number of which have supported Tusk's work regularly each year. In addition to the trust income, Tusk has an international membership scheme for individuals, which is growing year by year. They are particularly keen to encourage children and students to join and have produced an education "Wildlife in Danger" booklet for school children. The Trust arranges a wide range of fund raising events from dinners, fashion shows, theatre evenings and lecture events at the Royal Geographical Society, to Go-Karting, Marathon running and parachuting! |
