The main objective of the Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC) is to provide people from Africa with the required motivation and the relevant skills to manage and conser ve their protected areas and associated fauna and flora on a sustainable basis in cooperation with local communities. Their vision is that the Southern African Wildlife College remains a regionally recognised centre of excellence in conservation education and training. The Southern African Wildlife College has been training Natural Resource Managers from all over the SADC region for the past 10 years. The College is a non-profit organization, and each and every year the College battles to find money for training future custodians of the wildlife in Africa. The Peace Parks Foundation, and WWF-SA help to raise funds and support the College.

Southern African Wildlife College has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Southern African Wildlife College.
AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Southern African Wildlife College. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for ConservationTM program, unless explicitly indicated.
