The LLoyd Library has an extensive collection of books that contain information on the natural history of Flora and Fauna from the eastern United States. It is a research facility for doctors, scientists, writers and artists.

MasterWorks for Nature is a group of regional wildlife and landscape artists with a common passion for nature. Through the exhibition and sale of their artwork depicting natural subjects, this group strives to increase awareness and educate the public about the natural world and provide funding for conservation efforts.
- Oil Painters of America
This organization has national art competitions annually.
- Portrait Society of America
POA provides support for artists dedicated to fine portraiture and figurative work. They have an annual art competition,conference and on-going workshops.
- Susan K. Black Foundation
This foundation supports professional artists by offering continuing education from renown landscape and wildlife artists.
- The Ohio Historical Society
The Ohio Historical Society (OHS) conducts an expanded range of activities related to interpreting, collecting and preserving the state's heritage. In the last century, the society has collected more than 1.5 million items pertaining to Ohio's history, archaeology, and natural history. One of the largest state historical organizations in the country, OHS now has membership of over 9,000.
