LaVerne Hill is a Pennsylvania native. An artist for as long as she can remember...LaVerne's art arises from an appreciation of the wildife and nature that surrounds her. Like most wildlife artists, she was enchanted with animals at an early age. An ardent preservationist, she is passionate about the wildlife that she paints, and her desire is to help in conserving wildlife and their habitat.
A designer for the home decor and giftware industries...her two and three dimensional designs have been marketed nationally.
In 2006, Laverne completed and exhibited her first miniature painting, earning a Best of Show. She works in traditional miniature, and is dedicated to preserving the unique techniques of rendering miniatures. (AMA).
In 2008 she was honored when her painting "Wolves" was selected for the Small Works North America exhibit, at the Greenwich Gallery Exhibit in Fairfield, Connecticut.
