| Much of my wildlife to date has been African wildlife, however I have finally been able to start on a series of Shetland wildlife which is now shown on the website. This combined with the series of Shetland ponies I have done, has given me a real feelng of belonging to my new home in wild and wonderful Shetland. |

| Much of my time is spent on commission work which often tends to be portraits of pets or people. However, I was delighted to be invited recently to paint the prizes for the Shetland Pony Breed Show to be held in Lerwick, Shetland, for the first time in 10 years. As a newcomer to Shetland, I felt this to be a real honour, and had great fun with the wonderful photographs provided by the Society's local members. Limited edition giclee prints are now available from the 5 paintings that were given as ring prizes, and only 100 of each of these images will be printed, so don't delay if you wish to order a print. |

| I have always enjoyed sketching people, and was pleased to be involved for two years running in a special exhibition to celebrate the World Snooker Championships held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, when I was living there. I have great memories of those two events and met a lot of the players, particularly happy to have met Cliff Thorburn who was always one of my heroes and kindly signed my own print of my "Cliff" portrait. Most of the originals are still available, as are limited edition giclee prints of all the images. |
