I am delighted to take commissions for detailed portraits of animals or people and happily work from a good clear photograph. More general and abstract pieces in acrylic, watercolour pieces can be commissioned after discussion with the artist about the ideas they have. Commissions start from £100 in pencil, £400 in pastel or coloured pencil, £500 in watercolour and acrylic and £600 in oils.

Portraits are done on a basis of a 50% payment up front and the balance payable on receipt of an emailed or posted photograph showing the final artwork.
If you are looking for a less expensive gift for someone, you can commission a pet caricature from £30 upwards depending on the medium and these are based on your own photographs and some background knowledge of the animal provided by yourself.
Lead times vary but are usually around 2-3 months for a full portrait although caricatures can usually be finished within 2 weeks of receiving the details and full payment.
