Honey guides - Bear and Honey bees by Vicki Ferguson
  Honey guides  (2008)
Subject: Bear and Honey bees
Dimensions (inches): 10 x 20
Medium: Pencil and Pastel on black museum board
Description: They're relatively small; not particularly cuddly; and some of them tend to inflict painfull stings when disturbed. However, these perceived shortcomings aside, pollinators such as bees have a tremendous impact on wildlife, ecosystems, and the world economy. While bees may be under appreciated by many, the bear in this drawing is not going to take them for granted. If the hive is close enough, these bees might just guide him to it.
