I was recently contacted by Graeme Stevenson, CEO of the Australian television art program Colour In Your Life. Graeme who was coming to film in Perth, Western Australia, invited me to be a part of his next series. I was absolutely delighted and honoured. However the cherry on the top was that Graeme asked me to discuss my motivation and the technique used for my painting 'Tears of the rhino'. This was the best news as it gave me the opportunity to spread the word about the dire postion the rhino are in to a wider and varied audience with the potential to go global. There now seems to be a huge push to halt wildlife crime with pressure being put on the government bodies involved. With the aid of social networking it has become possible to spread the word at a much quicker rate. I hope that the video which is available on utube will reach far and wide and I thank Graeme for giving me the opportunity to share my story. Although my contribution is but a small one, a mere drop in the ocean one only hopes that it will together with others cause a tsunami. I have just had news that the program is now being aired in the USA and soon to be in the released in the UK and Europe and South Africa. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgcXE7_4K08
