My first show in Guatemala was exhibited successfully at La Galleria in Antigua, Guatemala over spring break in April. The show consisted of 15 watercolors depicting Guatemalan birds in watercolor. The pieces are the product of over five years of work and investigation. The turn out was good and most of the smaller works were sold.opening night. The larger pieces are still on display and will remain there until October. I had anticipated that the larger pieces would more difficult to sell, and many friends commented that I shouldn't have exhibited in Guatemala, for economic reasons. But I felt it important to share my love for this country's wildlife with my host country.
