Signature Membership Audubon Artists Society
On December 14, 2009, Hap Hagood was granted signature membership in Audubon Artists Society. Audubon Artists Society signature membership is by invitation only. Periodically, the Admissions Committee will review and approve artists they feel worthy of full membership; at which time they will present those artists to the Executive Board for final approval. Founded in New York City in 1942, Audubon Artists Society is an organization devoted to promoting the paintings, sculpture and graphics of American artists working in all styles of expression and is considered a national art society of great distinction.
