Artwork can be a wonderful addition to a commercial advertisement, or a sentimental gesture for a special occasion...
I have done several commissions for friends and clients, and one of my specialties is birds. I have done parrot portraits for the China Prairie website ( www.chinaprairie.com ) and several personal parrot portraits. Birds of prey are also a personal favorite. I was honored to be asked to create the artwork for the posters and street banners for Arcata, CA for their annual Spring Migration Festival, Godwit Days, featuring local shorebirds. Almost any wild thing is a potential subject for a painting, so commissions are usually determined by the client's interest.
Please contact me personally if you are interested in a commissioned work - the details of time and price will need to be worked out on an individual basis. I expect to be able to provide an estimate of costs, including sketches for approval before finishing the final work, and receive a 50% deposit of the agreed price before completion of the final work.
