They key to a successful commissioned work is good communication and Sharon will work closely with you to meet your needs and expectations.

1. During the initial consultation with the artist you can discuss your ideas and wishes for the painting.

2. Next, Schafer will collect reference materials and create a series of thumbnail sketches and again consult with you in regards to design concept.

3. The fee for the commissioned painting is related to the size and complexities of the painting but the average price is $10 per square inch.

4. Upon approval of the painting concept and price, the project due date is set. At that time a deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required.

5. Balance of payment is due upon delivery
