"The outdoor images of wildlife are seen for a moment, and then all too suddenly...vanish. To be able to view these animals in their natural habitat is truly a wonder few of us ever experience. I realistically bring to life the spirit of these winsome images and create oil paintings to be enjoyed for eternity."
Born and raised in California, Patti lives with her husband, Don, in the rural tennis resort community of Rio Bravo near lakes and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is here that the majority of her wildlife paintings are created. First, through sketches and photography, and then completed in her studio with oil on canvas. Along with her passion for art, Patti enjoys tennis, golf and trout fishing.
Working in oils, her original oil paintings and limited editions have been overwhelmingly successful at the National Expositions she has attended. Her ability to paint subjects with realistic detail in oil as won the accolades of fellow artists and collectors throughout the United States. Her artwork has been featured in various museums and galleries and can be found in the homes of collectors from the Pacific Ocean to the East Coast.
Her images have been published in the International magazine Wildlife Art, The Montecito News and she was the cover artist for Arts and Entertainment Magazine.
Her most recent exhibits include the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show in Seattle, Washington; Southeastern Wildlife Expo. in Charleston, So. Carolina; the Southern Wildlife Festival in Decatur, Alabama; the Wildlife Art Festival in Redlands, Ca.; Reflections of Nature, Fallbrook, Ca.; the Palm Springs Museum of Art and the San Bernardino Museum of Natural History.
