Born in South Africa and having lived for an extended time in Texas, Hawaii, Colorado and Arizona, Priscilla has experienced a variety of botanical and natural science environments. She holds a BA from Sweetbriar College.
Her varied interests have included scuba diving and competitive trapshooting, gardening, architectural design and botanical and natural sciences art.
Pursuit of excellence has been a common goal through each endeavor. A six-time All-American Trapshooter and Master Gardener, Priscilla's work has been the subject of a number of publications, including feature articles in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles and House and Garden magazines.
Priscilla has served on the Board of Trustees of the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, and was the founder of the Garage Class Series in Evergreen, Colorado.
Priscilla is the founder of the highly successful Art Institute at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, whose mottos are "Conservation through Art Education" and "Conservation - the Gift of Life." Students are encouraged to see and appreciate the natural world and create works of art and by this process to become conservationists. The student body now numbers more than 1,200 and is still growing by 20% annually.
Priscilla's art work is in many private collections and also in corporate collections, and the permanent collections of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.
Currently, she creates artwork for the benefit of the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, the Saguaro National Park and other conservation organizations.

Support for Conservation:
Priscilla is the founder of the highly successful Art Institute at the Arizona Desert Museum, whose motto is "Conservation through Art Education" and "Conservation is the Gift of Life."
The first classes were held in 1998. Enrollments in art classes are expected to exceed 1,200 signups this year.
Students come to appreciate the natural world through the close contact with live subjects in the classroom, and the detailed study inherent in natural history art.
