Quacka Blanca
(2005)
Subject: Domestic Ducks Dimensions (inches): 8 x 10 Medium: Acrylic on Gessobord Description: One of my favorite places for photography and sketching is the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 1848, it is a beautiful place, with large, old trees, sunken gardens, flowers and secluded ponds. This is where I encountered these attractive white ducks. Graceful swimmers, they seemed to glide effortlessly across the water. This painting appears as a demo in my book Painting Animal Friends. (Artists Collection)
