Description: This dove, while all 'puffed up' to ward off the cold, is an expression of peace and tranquility----the essence of doves.
'On A Winter's Morn' received Society of Animal Artists highest honor, the Award of Excellence, at the Society's 47th Annual 'Art And The Animal' Exhibition at the Wildlife Experience Museum in Parker, Colorado and was later selected for the Society's 2008 'Art And The Animal' National Museum Tour. 'On A Winter's Morn' now resides in the permanent indoor sculpture collection of Brookgreen Gardens, America's oldest and largest sculpture garden, located 12 miles below Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
