These two orphans were in the care of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in 1999. At that time they were the only orphans at the Nairobi nursery. How times have changed with the nursery now having to cope with so many orphaned elephants from the poaching massacres. They do great work and because of them many youngsters have a chance at making it through their trauma and going on to live wild with other orphans and wild elephants in Tsavo.
