Subject: Agave and Green-tailed Towhee Dimensions (inches): 28 x 18 Medium: transparent watercolor Description: Agave palmeri grows throughout the grassy hills of Miller Canyon in southeastern Arizona. This area is renown for the birds migrating through these canyons and hillsides. Late afternoon found this Green-tailed Towhee foraging beneath and perching on the leaves of this agave that has begun to send up a bloom stalk.
