4/28/2012 - Out of a record breaking number of entries, 1,120 Alan`s painting of a Bataleur Eagle has been selected as a finalist in the `World Birds` category of this years BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year competition. There are 13 categories in all and final judging takes place on May 24th at the Marwell Gallery. The category winners are exhibited at Marwell and published in the BBC Wildlife magazine. The overall winner receives a painting safari in Botswana with Pip McGarry.
