Susan Fox's Painting Choidog and Black Accepted Into AAEA Show
Having been invited to submit work to the show some months ago, Susan Fox is pleased to announce that her painting of a famous Mongolian horse trainer who she met in 2008 has been accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Equine Art special exhibition, "The Horse in Fine Art - A Salute to the World Equestrian Games 2010".
The Games are being held in the United States for the first time ever and the art show will be viewed by horse enthusiasts from all over the world.
"Choidog and Black" is an 18x24" oil painting on canvasboard and will be viewable, along with the rest of the show, at the Lexington History Museum in Lexington, Kentucky from April 16 through November 1, 2010.
Susan was the ninth recipient of an AFC Flag Expedition grant for her trip to Mongolia to study argali mountain sheep in July of 2009. She is a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists and also serves on their Board of Directors.
