This pair is part of the resident population in Hokkaido in northern Japan. They are revered as a symbol of good luck, longevity and fidelity. The one on the right received an Award of Excellence at the Color Pencil Society of America's 15th Annual Exhibition in Bethesda, Maryland. Dimensions given are for each one.
