Sahara Conservation Fund  is a dynamic organization with a unique mission: the conservation of the wildlife of the Sahara and its bordering Sahelian grasslands. Their vision is of a Sahara that is well conserved and where ecological processes function naturally, with plants and animals existing in healthy numbers across their historical range; a Sahara that benefits all its inhabitants and where support for its conservation comes from stakeholders across all sectors of society.

To implement its mission, SCF forges partnerships between people, governments, the world zoo and scientific communities, international conventions, NGOs and donor agencies. People working together with a common goal: the conservation of deserts and their unique natural and cultural heritage.

Sahara Conservation Fund has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for Conservation^TM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Sahara Conservation Fund.

AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Sahara Conservation Fund. AFC's Art for Conservation^TM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for Conservation^TM program, unless explicitly indicated.
