“SKETCH FOR SURVIVAL” A REAL TIME ONLINE WILDLIFE ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT ENDANGERED AFRICAN SPECIES, SEPTEMBER 22 - NOVEMBER 25, 2018
“Sketch for Survival,” a conservation campaign organized by Explorers Against Extinction and by the UK charity, Real World Conservation Trust, reached out to more than 330 professional artists, celebrities and other high profiled people around the world, to create a 26 minute sketch of an endangered species to raise funds for conservation charities that are pivotal in the battle to protect imperiled animals.  The timeline for each sketch was based on the shocking estimation that an elephant is poached for its ivory every 26 minutes.  Like many other professionals, Linda Rossin didn’t complete just a simple sketch, but rather spent days working on her donation, “Future King” (pictured).

The 2018 Sketch for Survival auction site launched on Saturday, September 22nd (World Rhino Day) and will close on Sunday, November 25th, 2018. These dates offer ample time to view all 420 sketches, place an online bid for the artwork you wish to own, and then track the active bidding daily of your chosen piece(s).  If interested, please go to Linda's Events Calendar for more information, then click on the link to the auction site where you can view the artwork, learn about the charities campaign, touring venues and locations. African Parks is the 2018 partner charity that will gain support from this years auction sales in order to establish a working dog program in Garamba, one of Africa’s oldest National Parks.  Please know that 100% of every purchase will help safeguard Elephants and the rare Kordofan Giraffe. Your generosity and support of this most important cause is paramount to its success. Thank you.
