| "Majestoso" receives Award of Merit in Guests Gallery's 4th International Animal Art Contest |

Harvill, a signature member of AFC, is the only AFC member living and working in Brazil. She focuses on endangered species, such as this Red-tailed Parrot, working in oil, watercolor and pastel. She has recently launched a children's picture book about the parrot, "Vida Livre". Of the 3,000 copies printed, 1,500 are being distributed free of charge to school children along the southern coast of Brazil where this parrot lives, with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of this specie and its ecosystem. |
