Subject: sparrow on cactus Dimensions (inches): 18 x 14 Medium: acrylic Description: I am fascinated by the tenacity and determination of the tiny sparrows that are found throughout the United States. Sometimes they are found in the most unlikely places, such as perched amongst the beautiful blooms of a prickly pear cactus. I had to paint this tiny creature as it sat almost hidden and dwarfed amidst the colorful Southwestern plant. Excited to say that this piece was selected as part of the AFC Exhibition for 2016-2017! I am SO honored to have work included in this show!
