Description: One of the most vibrant images of my last trip to Texas was the intense sunlight at dawn and dusk. Not a harsh, contrasty light that hurts the eye, but a low-angle golden light that provided the Midas touch to every object it illuminated. This White Ibis was caught in that late afternoon light, changing from a cool white into this warm, vibrant, living idol.
