This is another addition to my Canyon Country series, which is being created from my white-water rafting trip through Hell's Canyon on the Snake River.
There is nothing around for miles, yet perched midway up a mountain sits this little cabin. I can't imagine what it takes to get to it! But it's the perfect retreat from all the chaos of the world.
Traditional miniature art is fine art painted in small scale with minute attention to detail. Paintings must be able to withstand close inspection without revealing faults. Subject matter must be one-sixth of life size or smaller and painted no larger than twenty-five square inches.
A BEST OF SHOW award came this year from MonDak Art Society's annual miniature show in Sidney, MT.
