Description: Winklebee was a beautiful persian kitty and this long time client had a gorgeous photograph of him but the overall setting was far from attractive. It was decided that in the painting this purrsian needed to be placed on a persian carpet from his Northeast home, however, my client was currently in her home in the south! She did manage to find one photo of the rug, but it was totally the wrong perspective. With some artistic trickery I figured out how to create the perspective I needed and then used my best judgment to fill in the missing patterning based on some of the repeat designs. My client still can't figure out how I did this and continues to admire my perfect depiction of her persian carpet and of course of her beloved Winklebee.
