Subject: Trumpeter Swans Dimensions (inches): 22 x 30 Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Description: Trumpeter Swans are a majestic bird, gliding effortlessly and serenely. These swans form pairs for life-I photographed this pair in Calgary Zoo. As it becomes more difficult for these swans to find sufficient wintering habitat, their decline is likely to increase. The circles formed by them dipping their heads in and out of the water gave me the idea for this painting.
