Description: Juried into the Judith Ryan Williams 2nd Annual Nature & Wildlife Art Exhibit, St. Augustine Florida July 1 through August 28, 2011. Much to my surprise, "The Beach Boys" also appears on the front cover of the Exhibition Catalogue! In 2008 I visited Florida, including Sanibel Island, the J.N. 'Ding' Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and the gulf coast. "The Beach Boys" was inspired by many photos taken during that trip. The Ibis are a striking bird and their white feathers contrasting against the water makes them even more so.
