Subject: mice and coffee cups

Medium: colored pencil on museum board
Description: There was a hutch in my grandmothers kitchen. It was used for storing the 'good' china, flatware, and teapots. Delicate teacups, and assorted coffee cups, hung from hooks on the underside of the shelves. Mice would never have been allowed in my grandmothers house, much less her kitchen. But, if mice had been there, I know they would have thoroughly enjoyed taking a break from their daily activities to play among the cups.
