Description: This beautiful lion was overseeing the Serengeti on my 2006 trip to Tanzania. He was far away and so his coat has an abstract quality. I also liked the abstract designs of the tree. I've read that seeing a lion in a tree is a rare occurrence; but we saw many on that trip. I truly hope lions in their natural home will be there for future generations.
