Sunbeams At Sherbrooke - Crimson Rosellas in forest setting by Lyn Ellison
  Sunbeams At Sherbrooke  (2006)
Subject: Crimson Rosellas in forest setting
Dimensions (centimeters): 49 x 85
Description: Sherbrooke forest is a very special place of towering mountain ash trees and delicate treeferns and bracken in the understory. It is a secretive place where the scratchings of lyrebirds and wombats is the only clue to their existance. Small birds dart into sight and disappear again in a flash. Crimson rosellas are not secretive at all, they call loudly as they flash through the trees, their scarlet and blue feathers bright against the green. They gather at picnic spots in large flocks waiting for a handout and generally make up for all their shy neighbours.
