Subject: Lilacs Dimensions (inches): 30 x 40 x 1.5 Medium: Oil on Canvas Description: Lilacs ARE the scent of spring! Other flowers may bloom earlier but not one of them is as fragrant as lilacs! As a child I recall huge hedges of lilacs in every imaginable color and the magic of their perfume. My mom would cut hundreds of stems to pack and ship off to friends who otherwise would be unable to enjoy this very special spring treat. I know once I can smell the lilacs that spring is truly here and no last flurry of snow will come to mar the weather.
