Subject: Orchids Dimensions (inches): 48 x 60 x 1.5 Medium: Oil on Canvas Description: There is something magical about orchids. I find their shape and colors enchanting. Normally my subject matter comes from my backyard or from special vacations I have been fortunate enough to enjoy and neither of these had brough me up close and personal with an orchids. To remedy that situation I visited a locl greenhouse where I found these delightful white and red blooms. This painting was awarded Member's Choice (top award) for the Better Late than Never Show - having missed the earlier Orchid show.
