Sue DickinsonAfrica is in my soul.
I am passionate about the African wild and I spend as much time as possible recording and observing nature's diversity, in places that are untouched by time. My home is minutes away from South Africa's best wildlife reserves.
My paintings are inspired by the wide-open spaces of Africa, with limitless vistas and magnificent beasts interpreted in my singular, clean style.
I work mainly in watercolor, which is known to be the most difficult to master of all the art mediums. Today, modern paint technology makes watercolors vibrant and permanent.
I am acknowledged to be one of South Africa's foremost wildlife artists, with a rapidly growing international reputation. Most of my paintings are by special commission, from art collectors all over the world.
