People today spend so much time searching for “answers”, for that intangible something that will make us whole. Stop searching. Go alone into nature. Sit quietly and let the layers of stress and ego fall away.Listen. Absorb. Experience. Take in natures soul medicine.
Although I seldom paint animals, I paint nature or at least the beauty and feeling of natural areas. I look for atmosphere and beautiful light, a feeling of harmony and peace.I choose to work loosely - prefering to express myself through color, line, texture and dynamic compositions. If all goes well the paintings take on a life of their own and I simply guide them along.
